Pretty limited market up here so 2 yrs ago we came to Van looked at 6 on a long weekend and bought the best for the price which was a 37yr old trillium at 4k and I was regularly fixing a few things on it, you can actualy still buy a new trillium in calgary starting at 15k … which might be a good brand to consider because you could still buy parts??
The Camper, Trailer or Adventure Vehicle Thread

Another brand of camperized Astro/Safari is GTRV. The Canadian factory is Richmond, and they have a US one somewhere in California.

I don't think Bolers are cheap anymore, they have a cult following.
Yeah I'm aware of the overpriced hype Bolers usually bring, but there are still cheap gems to be found. I'm not set on a Boler either, just want a similar sized fibreglass trailer.

your jealousy is noted.
ps :fu:
Built using a conventional van, to which either a raised roof has been added or the back replaced by a low-profile body (aka coach-built)

Sweet.
Why b class or go home?
How do you store it in a town where bike storage is an issue?
because they (if you buy the right one):
- don't require a RV park if you're in the states
- fit in your carport
- don't cost a mint in fuel
- roll up to any tight little campsite, pop the roof and start the campfire.
- piss on the campfire, drop the roof and roll out of any tight little campsite
- did I mention fit in your carport, and bypass the strata rules for RV's and trailers?
- yeah, bikes can be an issue. But not any different than every SUV or pickup in this thread.

I've been restoring my 81 with a 2.0L. First gear up the coq pulling 2 dirtbikes is fun. At least the trucks don't get in the way.
side note……I have an 11 foottrck camper that I am also considering mounting on a small trailer and boxing in, to park at the ski hill next year.
dumb idea?? its not set up for winter, besides having a furnace. would it be a waste of time where it really gets cold?
