I know….just busting switch's balls.
I know what Im looking for, but shopping for it is a pain in the ass. there are waaayyy too many floorplans and options when it comes to camping trailers…..finding one that doesnt look like a 1980's vegas casino inside, with 2 bunks in the rear, queen bedroom up front and ISNT a fifth wheel is a PITA.
Im getting rid of the p/u…so a 5th is out of the question.

I really like the trailer option as one can leave it at the camp site and haul the motos or Mtbs easily to another location. Dual purpose bike could be used for shuttle retrivals. Having a truck also works for all the days when one is not camping. I'm really hoping in the future to spend 1-2 months, once or twice a year travelling around. Might even try some camping at ski hills too
After owning the slide in camper, these are my thoughts exactly.
Packing up every time you want to leave the campsite is a pita.

Only one. But my parents have one too, and my dad has converted two as well.
I'm in the market for a 20 foot trailer. The old 1974 tent trailer has served me well but it's time to move on.
If I didn't have a family I think a truck with a Bigfoot camper pulling an enclosed trailer would be the tits, it's all about pulling the toys around.
I'd like a small offroad tent trailer for when we move down to California but right now the cost is a little prohibitive and I'm not keen on going into debt to buy one. Thinking I'll pick up a 5x8 or 6x10 cargo trailer and do an RV conversion to the interior. As long as I have something with an RV style cargo door on the side of the trailer it's the kind of project that you can do incrementally and build up to something really nice. Biggest limitation is going to be weight as it'll have to be towed by my Santa Fe (3500lb limit).
Being cheap is OK. Being a clueless sanctimonious condescending douchebag is just Vlad's MO.

Sweet.
Why b class or go home?
How do you store it in a town where bike storage is an issue?

I don't think Bolers are cheap anymore, they have a cult following.
You are correct, 40 yrs ago they cost $1695 brand new, the last time I looked at them the doz or so brands of small FG trailers were between 4-7K with a reasonable average of 5K, so they have appreciated, sure you spend more money to buy one but you should get that $$$ back when you sell it
The up side is small FG trailers hold their value, they don't leak/rot cuz they are built much like a septic tank from 2 pieces of FG, they are light a boler is like 1500 lbs so they tow easily behind small SUV's, I got 18mpg behind my ranger
the downside is price cuz you could get an old rotting/leaky aluminium trailer for much cheaper, a 13ft boler is so small you gotta go outside to change your mind, also these things are older than most of the people reading this post so shit is often worn or broken, check them carefully look at lots of used ones making sure everything works, look very carefully at how the doors line up [HTML_REMOVED] close, ime the design of the bolers means they don't really have the best doors the hinges always are worn so the doors sag, trillium or bigfoot have better doors … important IMO
everything^^ you wanted to know about funky old FG trailers
Sweet.

Ive been trying to convince the fiancé that at toyota chinook is a good idea but she isnt as in love with them as I am. After finding out a awd astro tiger provan existed ive been hunting around for on. Always on the hunt for bolers, trilliums, mites but the cheapest ive seen em is 3700 that needs a full restore. Get one with a strengthened frame upgrade and its going for 6
yeah bro!!
Class B is expensive. 110K for a Roadtek. Used Riata is 30K.
