Curveball profile

I like my 4-door Tacoma fairly well, but it has the turning radius of a supertanker. Parking it is much bigger pain than you'd expect for a vehicle of its size.

LOL! Yeah, I had to add an aftermarket kit to get my Tacoma to shift better. And the V6 lacks any torque in low RPMs. And the lack of headroom is annoying. If I didn't have such great luck with previous Toyotas, I would have bought a Colorado.

I have the Outbound Trail Evo and just waiting for the new Portal light for my helmet.

That's one of my biggest fears. That entitled e-dirtbikers will take over the MTB trails. I won't be surprised if they start showing up here in the northwest.

A very wise colleague once told me, don't come to me with problems, come to me with solutions. It was great advice that I've tried to incorporate into my life.

I recently rented a bike with a Zeb Ultimate and it was also murder on my hands tracked quite poorly over rock gardens. Maybe it's just me. I've never gotten on with RS suspension. Invariably over the decades, the stock RS forks were replaced by Marzocchi's with much relief. 

The Mezzer is damn fine fork.

Yeah, it seems that OneUp stuff is always showing up on my bikes. Something isn't working quite the way that I'd like, or I just want a better solution to the problem, and then OneUp happens to have whatever it is to make everything right in the world again.

Those would be some very heavy wheels. I think that would be a full wheelset weight.

On reviewing bikes, Mike has such an insightful view of things and an incredible way of expressing those insights. He can convey his impressions of things far better than nearly everyone.

I'm in a similar place in life and it's hard coming to grips with diminishing abilities. In my case, it's compounded by riding with my teenage son who can easily drop me at a moment's notice. On the other hand, seeing him drop me and ride far better than I ever have makes me happy and proud.
