Oh boy I am right in the middle of this and am totally with you on the joint injuries I would take one of those any day.

my commute takes me close to Norco HQ, I am always looking for new bikes on the back of cars and trucks - nothing seen yet.

this is an issue elsewhere in the outdoor recreation community,  the hiking and climbing community are struggling to get support to develop / renew trails and route in the Sea to Sky corridor despite years of attempted advocacy, sometimes it is like the government want to keep people out of the land and contained in parks or cities.

I am with Dave in my 200 gram Inov-8's they will probably be as durable as the Yeti.  My back and feet hate me more squish!

I think that is a case of most people not realising what they or there bikes a capable of.  I am not a regular rider but me and my 2009 Banshee Paradox seem just about fine on Seymour and Fromme and the tricities.  The short sections of walking offset the $3500 cost of new bike.  More photos of that Stinky please it sounds brilliant.

Thinking about swapping my flat bars on my commuter for some swept back ones like the On-One OGV2 is this going to help with wrist pain? Also getting some wider tyres. Any other tips for minimizing wrist pain? Its not arthritis, seems to be myofascial stuff (potentially stress related) Cheers

Is anyone able to help my find out a bit more about life in Pemberton (and recommend a realtor to meet for coffee).  We are at the beginnings of a plan to move there and there are few bumps in the road...

1. housing hence the realtor

2. understanding the community vibe, we've been up there numerous times and always seem to meet nice people in the sunshine is this a fair representation of the scene it seems to handle non locals quite well.

3. Its a small town, I grew up in a small town and I know the positives and negatives my gf is less convinced.

Perfect, I was trying to figure out the improvement over just a road bike, I used to commute nearly this far but was typically exhausted on a Friday however with my e fat bike I can slay the shore too

I am thinking about ebike commuting (port moody to east side of Maple Ridge) about 25km each way. Is anyone commuting reasonably long distances via ebike target would be to get it done in 45-50mins.  Does this sound reasonable?
