i had the octamouse before the vittorias now, vittoria are even denser and should provide excellent runflat protection

depending on sitting position, for a mtb or riding on the hoods i would say too much forward and too much pressure on the nerves/blood vessels, riding on the lower part of a racebike handlebar it’s acceptable. i‘d move the seat to a more forward position to get the weight back

i use the gebiomized software several times per week doing saddle analysis with customers. that pressure map is far from ideal?  usually you want next to no pressure in the front and the whole pressure more in the middle of the 2 thirds in the back. way too much pressure in the nogo zone in the middle

no 62cm+ option

bell usually fit okayish, but most helmets leave an imprint for a few hours on the forehear when wearing one for a whole day. tld d2 xxl was the last helmet that really fit good. simce then they changed the form unfortunately

why do manufacturers always think 61cm is enough and call it a day? and why do reviewers never see this as a negative? call them the fuck out for it

my mesh poc backprotector vest i wore with the hippack was similar on the sweat scale than this one

my very first gen evoc (the one with the standalone backprotector option, 2008ish?) was indesctructable. i replaced it with the one reviewed here because so much lighter. and the old black one bleached out to a reddish black over time, was not nice to look at anymore. still functioned like on the first day though.

I guess I just assumed ignoring decades of crash testing research and replacing crumple zones with rigid steel panels was a bad thing. Seems I'm mistaken.

do you have it in the middle = 0° position? they advertise like 5 different configurations to mount

does it really feel like the saddle has more drop in the downhill position or does it just equalize the amount it adds to initial saddle height?

i'm curious about the repairability of these things. obviously no pulling / filling / painting going on so they're looking at panel replacement. bolt on stuff like doors are easy enough, but (i assume) replacing that rear quarter is going to be beyond the expertise of most shops, and i'm sure the SS panels are impressively spendy. probably not going to take much damage to write one of these off.

afaik you remove the steel panels with new ones?

my banshee titan v3.2 i build up in july after my orbea rise got stolen. soon to be replaced by a kenevo sl frame, reusing most of the parts (sans cranks and shock)
