My parents paid to be members when the ski hill was created. Then I think we paid something like $100/season for our family after that. Or you could go down in the fall and help clear willows and your fee would be waived. We were the little brats that would go there after school with shovels from home so we could build jumps to hit at night skiing after dinner. But, talk about drops to flat. We had no clue. I probably should be 6' instead of 5'10". lol

Btw, what's happening with Hudson's Bay? Rumor had it they received some funding and were planning to open for bikes in the summer. But I haven't heard anything in over a year now.

costs of running a resort are HIGH

I suggest the small area as oposed to the mega resort experiance,

20 min to HBM or tour up and an early bird seasons pass is not outrageous

I bought lift tickets for 5 at Hart highlands and got change back from my 20 $

I grew up on the Hart. My first job as a teenager was running the old rope tow and working in the rental shop at Hart Highlands. We used to ski right from our house to the hill. Good times.

The Farmmac 660 just showed up. The fake carbon is a little much but otherwise it looks and feels pretty good. Fired right up and idled well right out of the box. She's heavy but I don't see me using it for much other than milling.

I picked up a Milwaukee M18 and in the fall and love it. Great little saw, fits in my builders pack and is not too heavy compared to the MS170 it replaced. I just rolled the dice on a Holzfforma 660 from an outfit called Farmmac. A Chinese clone saw. No clue how this will turn out but it was approximately a grand cheaper than the Stihl 661 that I had my eye on.

I bought the Duo 2200 about four years ago then my wife got me the Titan 4000 for Xmas that same year. A little pricy but combined they been great. And the batteries are both still going strong. 1.5 - 2 hour rides at -10 with plenty of battery left. I do try to remember to put them them on the lowest setting when I’m climbing.

I’m interested in the Lightning but the range just isn’t there yet. 800km would be the ticket. That is if I ever get tired of rolling coal in my chipped diesel on 38’s with stacks through the box and truck nuts hanging from the hitch. 

Jk, I drive a stock 1/2 ton Silverado that still freaks me out a bit when it shuts down at a traffic light.

My wife and I received our first doses this morning at 8am. She went to work. I hiked up to the trail, shovelled dirt and hauled rocks for two hours then hiked out. Both of use feel completely normal. I thought my arm would be sore but it’s fine.

Second dose seems to hit people a lot harder, just a heads up. I went for a hard ride immediately after second shot and was all fucked up the next day.

Thx. A buddy of mine said the same about his second dose. But he also drank a few beers and thought that may have made it worse.

Lol. I rarely post on here anymore, never in NBR. That’s a goddamn mine field! Cheers. I’ll buy you a beer in exchange for directions if we get to Smithers this summer.
