When you said "Though our egos tend to drive us towards wanting the biggest gun in the arsenal (ie, the Nomad), methinks many of us would be better served on something like this" you caught my interest. Better served because it climbs that much better than a Nomad?

I've been thinking about a Nomad and waiting for the redesign. However, most of my riding is on the shore with just a few bike park days (whistler, sun peaks, coast gravity park). And when there, I prefer runs like crank it up to dirt merchant. Do you think a Bronson can handle laps on crank it up (with one or two A lines thrown in?). I'm not a super aggressive rider. Would a Bronson be a better bet for me?

So we got a dog a couple years ago. Started him riding on Fromme / Seymour last year and getting more into it now. He loves it but I do worry a bit about him getting hurt following me down the faster or more janky sections of trail. Anyone here have any tips about keeping dogs safe on trail, more dog friendly trails to hit, or any other tips regarding riding with dogs?

Apparently he was a European tourist on an unsanctioned trail.  Yikes.

Awesome suggestions guys.  I have to drop the kids off at Base II.  On Trail Forks it looks like I can park there and ride the Blackcomb Access Road to Yummy Numby - is that right?  Then down Foreplay, a rip around Lost Lake trails, and back up to Base II.  Is that gonna work?

Im a North Shore guy who rides the WBP like, once a year.  I'll be up this weekend and thought I might give the non-WBP trails a try, but I don't know where to start.  Are there any trails that are considered classics or at least very popular?  I don't have all day but probably a few hours.  Riding a Bronson.  Cheers.
